What is academic success for Southeast Asian parents? In this workshop, family expectations/obligations and challenges of being a female/male Southeast student will be explored in relationship to academic success. Facilitators will cover tips and strategies on how parents can support their transitional high school students to college successfully.

Landing The Job: Resume and Interview Tips

Most job position openings receive hundreds of resumes and applications. Your resume is a first glimpse of who you are. Get tips on how to write a resume that will stand out. Interview techniques will also be discussed during this workshop.

LEAD

What type of leader are you? Are you someone who is aggressive, spontaneous, loyal, or goal oriented?  What types of leadership role do you for see yourself in? How do you get there? To answering these questions, the facilitator will utilized DISC to explore the different type of leadership styles and provided strategies in becoming a better leader.

What are the admission requirements? What classes you need to take to prepare you for transfer.  What can you do to make you a competitive applicant? When & how do you apply?
